Born and raised in Germany, Ulrike switched from medical studies at Muenster University and followed her inner calling — linguistics, journalism and international public relations, resulting in two BAs and one MA.
After working for Hammerschmidt Aviation in Munich for two years (affiliated with NATO), she got married and immigrated to Israel together with her firstborn baby daughter.
Working together with her late husband for more than ten years, an international motion picture art director and production manager, she was able to use her studied skills.
For the last thirty years, Ulrike has been working for the international public affairs division of Sheba Medical Center as assistant director, responsible for publications, media, fundraising and donor relations, mainly in Europe.
Her passion for and understanding of the medical field, helping people, rising awareness in advancing Israel’s biggest medical center become what it is today, made her come full circle.
