LauraSa Pele Lafoia Ava-Tesimale is a Pacific American social entrepreneur, impact investor, humanitarian, sacred activist, and community organizer. She was born in the village of Pava’ia’i, Pacific Island of Tutuila, American Samoa, raised in Oahu, Hawaii and currently resides in California, USA. She is a steward of Mother Earth, dedicated to causes that promote indigenous people’s rights and cultures, eco-justice, empowering women, nutrition and education for underprivileged children, strengthening families, and uplifting communities. Most importantly, LauraSa is mother to Brittany Pele, grandmother to Nakoda Mike, and mom to her 4 foster children & many orphans.She was a devoted wife of 33-years to her late husband Mike Foimai Tesimale, a beloved husband, father & servant leader.
LauraSa’s professional career spans 30+ years in Mortgage Banking holding positions such as Corporate Executive, Account Executive, Branch Manager, Government & Investor Relations, Consultant… managing corporate operational divisions & production branches of multi-billion-dollar real estate funding/lending firms. In 2000, she started AVA Consulting & Management. In 2001, she became the Founder & CEO of One Global Family Alliances, and in 2015 the International Councils, Circles & Congress of Women-Youth (FKA CIIWY); both are DBAs of UDWC. In 2018, LauraSa became the COO & Shareholder for FAZit.com, Inc. (start-up tech company) and was promoted in 2020 to Chief Global Relations Officer. In 2020, LauraSa was elected as Chair, President & CEO of Unity and Diversity World Council (UDWC 2.0), after serving 5 years as Co-Chair. In 2012, she became a Co-Pruducer of PeaceSundays.org and in 2020 she became the Chair & Executive Producer. In 2022, she is launched as CEO & Executive Producer of AVA Heaven’s Choice Productions.
